The THE0007 Plastic Sleeve Non-Mercury Candy thermometer is the ideal thermometer to use when you want to measure the temperatures of boiling sugar, oil, sauces, and syrups. Also known as deep-fry thermometers, candy thermometers measure a wide range of temperatures, making them useful for achieving the right consistency in confections like caramels, brittles, spun sugar, and sugar syrups. Precise, hot temperatures determine a candy’s malleability and final form, so a thermometer can come in handy when reaching the desired temperature.

- The THE0007 Candy Thermometer has a temperature range of +80 +200 °C. This temperature range is sufficient to measure the temperatures of most candy-like foods, such as boiling sugar, oil, sauces, and syrups.
- The THE0007 has a length of 430mm. This allows you to measure the temperature of the foods without getting too close.
- The THE0007’s reading column has divisions of 1°C, making it accurate to 1°C. This degree of accuracy is enough for most situations requiring a candy thermometer.
- The THE0007 Candy thermometer also comes with a grey polyamide alimentary protection sleeve to protect your fingers from getting burnt.
- The THE007 Candy thermometer does not use mercury in its sleeve. As a result, it keeps your food non-toxic and safe for you and your customers to eat without worrying about mercury poisoning.
- The scale of the THE0007 candy thermometer is also positioned internally.
