What’s a convection oven? Very simply put, a convection oven has a fan and exhaust system that a regular oven does not. The fan and exhaust help blow hot oven air over and around the food, then vent it back out. As a result, this hot air surrounds the food so that it cooks evenly and more quickly. It’s the perfect tool for roasting, making lots of cookies, toasting, dehydrating, baking pies and pastries.

- We liked the digital control interface that the Piron COP8014 Digital Convection Oven has. This has the advantage of an improved user interface, improved efficiency and increased flexibility. It looks better, too, in our opinion.
- The COP8014 supports 3-stage cooking. Stage cooking is the ability to cook food using the components of time, temperature and blower percentages in three different stages throughout the cook. As a result, you can prepare complicated dishes that more than one step to prepare them.
- Using the COP8014’s Humidity Injection function, you can manually inject steam at any time during the cooking process to add your personal touch to every dish. Combine this with the unit’s humidity regulator, you can accurately control the humidity in the baking chamber, reducing cooking times and protecting the food surface from the effects of an extended cooking time.
- With multiple fans with auto-reverse, the Reverse Air Flow feature intensifies the airflow in the cooking chamber of the oven guaranteeing a golden uniform result.
- The Piron COP8014 Digital Convection Oven uses extensive thermal insulation within its superstructure. This allows it to retain heat and thus be more efficient, keeping your electricity costs down.
- As a nice extra, Piron has designed the oven door as a double glass one. This allows you to visually monitor your products without opening the oven door unnecessarily. It helps too that the door itself is easy to clean.
