- The OTE0001 has a polar compound resolution of 0.5% PC and can, therefore, accurately measure the amount of polar compound material in oils with an accuracy of +/- 2%. The higher the percentage of polar compound material in the cooking oil, the more carcinogenic it is.

- The OTE0001 Electronic Oil Tester can operate in the 50ºC to 200ºC temperature range. The resolution when measuring the temperature is about 1ºC. It’s accuracy in measuring that temperature is +/- 1ºC.
- The OTE0001 is simple to use and has a straightforward interface that is easy to monitor. The % of Polar Compounds is immediately visible on the digital display. This enables rapid evaluation of the thermal oxidation of frying oil. This allows you to decide whether or not the oil is still of good enough quality to use. Or if it’s time to get rid of it.
