Description
They are German-engineered and built, yes, but they won’t bite your pocket. We don’t think that much has to be said after this. The build quality is excellent, the performance is amongst the best and the price is reasonable. We also loved the ”Star Wars” effect: all those new digital technologies will make your baking experience interesting and easy. The Convotherm Maxxi oven is a must buy if you are in the food service or snack business. From hotels, restaurants, and cafes, the range of use-cases is extensive.
Features:
- We like the three-in-one function of the Maxxi ovens. With the Maxxi ovens, you can cook with steam, turn it into a combi-steam oven and also use it for convection purposes. That allows you to prepare a wide range of dishes: from those that require grilling to those that are best steamed.
- Besides manual cooking and baking, the Convotherm Maxxi oven also supports automatic cooking and baking processes. The ovens can hold an integrated cookbook with six preset product categories which can store up to 399 cooking profiles that support as much as 20 cooking steps.
- We also liked Convotherm’s TrayView and TrayTimer technologies which allow you to monitor individual trays in the oven.
- The Maxxi ovens are amongst the most connected kitchen appliances you will find. With WIFI and LAN connectivity you can go online to download software updates, upload recipes centrally to multiple appliances and even access HACCP data.
- Maxxi ovens are the paragon of cleanliness. We liked the inclusion of an automated cleaning system with four different cleaning cycles. We also liked the feature that allows for the non-poisonous and cost-effective steam sterilization of kitchen utensils.
