Casadio is one of those old and reputable companies that have become synonymous with quality. The Undici series of Espresso Machines are Casadio’s latest, and main, Espresso Machines. The Casadio Undici A3 & S3 Espresso Machines are the biggest members of this range, being suitable for coffee bars and restaurants. The A3 is the automated appliance whilst the S3 is best described as being semi-automatic.
Features:
- Being three group Espresso machines, the A3 and S3 allow you to brew a large number of Espressos in a given time. This makes them great for businesses with a high rate of turnover.
- We also liked the inclusion of a fixed-nozzle thermosyphon system in both models; a system that ensures excellent temperature control to produce consistently impressive cups of espresso.
- You can choose between an automatic and a semi-automatic machine. The S3 is the semi-automatic one of the machines in this range which allows you to start and stop the extraction process manually. It’s probably the best pick if you have excellent staff.
- The A3 machine is the automated one that allows those without any experience to take part in the brewing process. By using programmed settings (which can be accessed via its LED button pad) to determine the correct amounts of brewing time, it takes out the human error factor, guaranteeing more uniform shots.
- We loved the overall build of the S3 and the A3. We liked the infusion of both stainless steel and aluminium to produce durable appliances which have an elegant, pleasing look. It’s stuck somewhere between retro and modern: it’s an effect which we haven’t seen anywhere else.
- With all two being direct connect machines, they give an added degree of convenience to your staff: they refill themselves and so don’t have to be babysat.
